Preparing your enquiry
When you select “Send my enquiry”, the topic, your name, email, message and any completed optional fields (organisation and region) are sent to BLC through Netlify Forms. The form language accompanies the enquiry. Required fields allow us to process and answer your enquiry; the remaining fields are optional.
When you send your message
BLC uses the information you submit to answer your enquiry, review the project and manage related correspondence. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing. Provide only necessary information. Sensitive plans and detailed commercial information should be covered by an agreed confidentiality arrangement.
Hosting and technical data
Netlify hosts the website. Requests needed to display pages may generate logs including the IP address, requested page, time and browser information. This data supports hosting operations, security and technical monitoring. Netlify and email services may process data outside Québec.
Company visit analytics: Snitcher
Snitcher is optional. It loads only after you choose “Accept”. BLC uses it to understand which companies are interested in its activities and guide business development. Declining leaves the website and forms available. Pages containing a form are excluded from tracking; BLC does not send field contents to Snitcher.
After acceptance, Snitcher processes IP addresses, pages viewed, referral information, activity, and browser and device characteristics. It attempts to associate visits with a company, without establishing the name of the person visiting. According to its documentation, processing takes place in Frankfurt, Germany, outside Québec.
Your choice is stored in this browser for 180 days (blc_privacy_v1). After acceptance, snitcher_device_id may persist for one year; snitcher_session groups activity for 30 minutes after the last interaction. These browser storage periods differ from retention of data already sent to the service.
The “Privacy choices” button on every page lets you withdraw consent. Choosing “Decline” clears accessible Snitcher identifiers on this site and reloads the page if tracking was active. Subsequent pages no longer load Snitcher. Withdrawal does not automatically erase data already received: contact the person below to request deletion or ask about the retention periods that apply to that data.

Videos and external services
Embedded videos are hosted with the website. Links to HeyGen, LinkedIn, Facebook and other websites open separate services governed by their own policies.
Retention
Enquiries are stored in Netlify Forms and may be forwarded to BLC’s email service for processing. Information is retained to process and follow up on the enquiry and meet applicable obligations. The period depends on the file. Contact us for the relevant criteria or to request deletion, subject to retention obligations.
Your rights and questions
You may request access to your personal information, its correction, its provision in an appropriate format where data portability rights apply, or withdrawal of consent. Withdrawal may limit the requested follow-up. To exercise your rights or make a complaint, write to the contact below. Proportionate identity verification may be necessary. Requests are handled within applicable legal conditions and time limits.

Changes will be shown on this page with a new update date. Before introducing a tracking tool or a new collection purpose, the required information and choices must be provided.
