The simulator uses direct sales from a licensed producer and a fixed 12-inch (0.3048 m) lightweight concrete foundation. The preset $125.71/m³ is a scenario from the BLC comparison dated September 24, 2026, version 3, pages 2–4. It results from $502.84 ÷ 2 ÷ 2, assuming two successive intermediary markups. Verify that assumption and replace it with a direct producer quotation. Excavation, aggregate, asphalt and placement rates are internal assumptions from the same document. Project dimensions, prices and other costs can be changed. This is a budget scenario, not a quotation or structural design. The source comparison includes a 5 cm upper drainage layer; the scenario requested on October 31, 2026 defaults that layer to 0 and adds no aggregate below BLC. Drainage and pavement structure require project-specific design. No ESAL performance or emissions reduction is assumed for this option.
Life-cycle comparison: equal future costs mode retains only the initial saving without treating unknown maintenance costs as zero. It assumes equal future direct spending and residual values. Detailed mode uses project data. A 30-year saving for one annual cohort must not be multiplied by 30 to describe a 30-year rolling programme, because later cohorts have not completed their life cycles. Scheduled rolling programme results include construction and interventions reached within the shared calendar horizon; cohort residual values and indirect costs are excluded.
Priced schedule: maintenance and rehabilitation from InnovAct 2020 tables 6 and 7, recalculated for entered geometry and rates. No full reconstruction is imposed within 30 years; its editable interval is an assumption and its cost uses the initial budget plus extras. Reconstruction resets intervention age. Transfer to the thin section and price-year harmonization require validation.
